On the 15th of September, I successfully defended my PhD thesis at the University of Zurich. With this, an extremely exciting time comes to an end and initiates the next chapter in my career as a researcher. I am very grateful to to all the people that supported me during this journey and shared this moment with me. My thesis explores incentives systems in blockchains and hopefully contributes to improved designs of blockchain platforms and applications in the future.
